White Zinfandel is actually produced using the dark red grape variety zinfandel; the light pink colour is a result of stopped fermentation that allows the juice to remain higher in sweetness and also retain it s pretty pink hue. Look for aromas and flavours of melon, strawberry, and citrus on a soft, medium-sweet palate.
