Rally ready for the off (Print 2376626) on Sale

Description
—Â
It s 1959, and the magnificent men (and women) in their jaunty jalopies are ready to race for the sun in the Monte Carlo Rally.
The UK leg, which always began from outside the Royal Scottish Automobile Club, in Blythswood Square, was a real crowd-pleaser, with flocks of car enthusiasts all eager to get a nosey at the competing vehicles.
One out of Glasgow, it was a charge south through England, for the Channel coast, and the overnight ferry to France.
